Etios Liva – Toyota’s New Q Class Hatchback

In India, the diesel version of Etios hatchback was unveiled on 09-Sept 2011 in Delhi. The price of the vehicle in India starts at Rs 5.54 lakhs. Diesel specs suggest that the hatchback model is powered by a D-4D 1.4 liter engine that can deliver maximum power of around 67 bhp, and peak torque of 170 N-m. New Toyota Etios Liva has already created yardstick for affordability in the country.
J and G Plus: Etios Liva J is the base variant (petrol edition) in the lineup that comes with the bare essentials, and lacks the goodies like EBD, dual SRS airbags, ABS, and driver seatbelt warning.
G plus model with petrol engine comes with additional optional amenities like ABS, Driver Seatbelt Warning, Dual SRS Airbags, and EBD.
Etios V and VX
The V-trim includes additional features like rear defogger, chrome-accented air vents, tachometer, remote fuel lid opener, and dual SRS airbags.
VX is the top variant of petrol version that comes with all kinds of standard features that include all kinds of safety features and audio controls on steering wheels.
The G model comes with additional features like power windows, tubeless tyres, central locking, electric power steering, immobilizer, and keyless entry.
Etios hatchback petrol version is supported by the 4- cylinder 1197 cc engine to breathe better and blending perfection under the skin, if we look at the proportion of weight and power. It plays a major role in segment. Its kerb weight is around 890 Kg with which it can guarantee easy-to-drive motor.
The 104 N-m torsion is one of the prominent features, alongside the exceptional linear power delivery. High power output in the hatchback improves drivability.
The 1.4L diesel engine outputs 68PS and it is a 4-cylinder engine. Liva Diesel engine can produce maximum torque of 170 N-m. It can also achieve an impressive mileage of 23.59 kmpl.
